Re-purposed dressing table

I found this dresser a few months back at a market and just couldn't say no to it. I brought it home and just didn't feel it 'fit' with my decor. I thought about painting the timber white and distressing it but personally I rather the genuine chippy boards. So I lived with it for a little while...till I could spring my idea upon my hubby. I told him I would love to find chippy timber planks and redo the table top and the drawer, also adding a little vintage glass knob (found a few weeks ago also at a market) He agreed it would be a nice little project so we went for it. After searching high and low to find chippy recycled timber planks we finally found a few pieces for us to start our reno.

And the finished piece...

A special thanks to my hubby as it wouldn't be so unperfectly perfect without him. <3 xo
